Public Housing Roundtable
March 18, 2014
Columbia University's Studio X-NYC
New York, New York
Organizer: Karen Kubey
Intern: Sben Korsh

An interdisciplinary panel moderated by David Burney for the Institute for Public Architecture, the meeting was in response to Mayor Bill de Blasio's call for a "total reset" in New York City's public and affordable housing. The morning started with presentations of case studies on the Vienna model and Brownsville, Brooklyn. The panel then discussed social, economic, and political influences that challenge New York's housing crisis.
